Today we continued taking down Locus 47. In the southern half of the locus, we found a large groundstone (Ar/Ge.T31.47.L.01) at 2283.74 masl. On the western side of the locus, in the center, we found half of a ceramic spindle whorl (Ar/Ge.T31.47.CO.01) at 2283.58 masl. More of the EB II beaker came out of the rock fall west of the wall (Locus 25). It turns out that the light brown matrix we had in the eastern part of Locus 47 is actually what is lying under the medium brown matrix, which was higher on the eastern side of the locus. Thus in taking down Locus 47, we are tracing out the light brown layer.
