Locus 8, located at the 1 m extension of the trench, was changed to locus 9 after the soil became similar to the clay soil of locus 7. Excavation was stopped here, except for a 3 x 0.5 m probe running along the northwest baulk, which did not turn up anything of note.
ET2 was cleaned. I then prepared measurements of the rocks on the southeast baulk for drawing tomorrow. I'll also draw the floor plan while my crew is cutting sod at the next operation, which will be located downslope, over some stair-like features found during the 2008 mag survey.
