30 june 2013 Today we finished cleaning locus 1. We opened locus 2. We have to finish removing dirt from locus 2 tomorrow. it was sunny and warm today but very windy. We also opened up locus 3. It appears the back wall to the room is transecting the trench. It also appears there may be a wall bisecting the trench. I divided the trench into 2 parts for locus 2 and locus 4, which are adjacent to each other. this is an arbitrary distinction made to manage material.
