We still need a top elevation for loci 4, 5, 6, and 7
10 is still opened for cleaning.
Today my workers were Sahag, Gago, Gor, Levan (subbing for Boris), with the addition of Setrak and Haik.
Bottom elevations for locus 3:
N corner (datum 1): -99.0 cm
Center (d2): -142.5 cm
E corner (d2): -147.8 cm
S corner (d2): -131.5 cm
W corner (d1): -107.8 cm
I added a locus 11, in the N area of locus 9, changing the extent of locus 9. Also finished locus 11.
I drew the stones in locus 10, by estimating off of yesterday’s map. We removed 4 large stones from the fall in locus 10. The cleaning of the soil beneath went in locus 11.
At the W corner of 11, we reached a change in soil: a more clay-like, light brown soil. We will finish cleaning locus 11, then follow the soil, removing fall in locus 10 and the area of locus 11.
Locus 12 is the area in the center of the trench, which had been locus 9 (but we only excavated about half of locus 9). Locus 13 is now the soil below locus 9.
