Started cleaning the 50-75cm gap between the wall construction to see if there is a rubble core. This soil will be locus 5.
In SLT1 at top of locus 6 (below topsoil) recovered a bronze 'chaining pin' with decorative elements at the top. Pavel not sure of the time period. Soil on this side of construction is much lighter in color than on northern side.
In SLT2 found another basalt morter in locus 2. Got below cobbly layers in loci 2 and 4 so changed loci to 4 and 5 respectively though soil color is unchanged. Decided to expand this trench another 3m E to try to finally establish what's going on with the architecture. Hoping to identify the SE corner of this room (if it is a room).
