Narrative

In SLT1 still focusing on N of wall construction in hopes finding floor. Came down on a cobbly layer in locus 2 soil so calling this locus 7. A yellowish clay layer is emerging in SE corner against wall construction, calling it locus 8.

In SLT2 we're focusing on large E extension. We decided to blast through all the rocks as a means of using this section as a window/probe. Started locus 9 in brown soil below cobbly layer. Still many large stones, but fist sized cobbles have declined. One of the large stones we removed had the profile of a morter hole as if stone was split in half along the morter. Also pulled a complete large apparent handstone of unknown material.
