Coming down on yellow clay layer locus 8 coincident with the bottom of the northern side of wall construction below locus 7. Sterile of cultural material with large apparently natural boulders embedded in it. Small carbon sample taken from locus 7-8 transition in SE corner against wall. Wall definitely stops going down here. No obvious floor here despite a slight increase in clay in locus 7 just above locus 8. Cultural material stayed pitifully low.
In SLT2 continued removing smaller floating stones to see if any further construction becomes evident. Took a carbon sample from a small remaining clay floor at 234cm below datum. Floor is only a couple of cm thick and appears to be preserved primarily under a couple of stones. A SW corner of some construction may be emerging in locus 9. Bedrock slopes down to the E under locus 9 and is designated locus 10.
