Having finished N half of SLT1, we're now back in S half in locus 6 the soft tan clay silt. Ceramics are definitely LBA and in much greater quantity than N of wall construction. Finally hit a hard clay floor above a rock layer at about 225 below datum. Floor is locus 9 and bears some charcoal flecks and lithic debitage. Another wall may run E-W near southern edge of trench resting on floor. Digging on S side of new wall to see if it goes down. This gets a new horizontal designation of locus 10.
In ELT2 we're removing stones on S side of E-W wall to see if it goes down. Locus 6 is now designated locus 11 on this side of wall.
