Very rainy today.
Todays crew was Roman, Karlos, Roland, Artur (for Arman), and Grikor.
The rocks that lay on top of some of the sherds of the broken pot (locus 12, bag 2) definitely broke the pot and lay atop both charcoal and a likely suslik nest. 1 small astragalus, atop a flat stone fragment, was found immediately below an overturned sherd.

72 cm from S baulk x 337 cm from E baulk
-106.6 cm below datum 4 (2294.354)
Locus 15 is the remainder of the surface in the center of the trench, E of the bedrock cut, next to locus 14.

Locus 18 top elevation: 2295.005
Locus 17 top elevation: 2294.865
Locus 16 is a fairly dark brown soil, somewhat compact. It lies under locus 13 (may be seen in drawing for July 19th). Also likely lies above locus 17. Locus 16 is next to the backfill in T20.
Locus 17 is a lighter brown color; it is also including unexcavated soil at the same elevation in T35. Locus 16 is being brought level to locus 17.
Locus 18 is next to locus 16, also likely above locus 17, but is a much lighter color than locus 16.
T35.15.C.01 – a second crucible, in the same area as the first, also in association with a piece of the broken pot from locus 12 (ceramics bag 2).

A large astragalus was also found nearby.
It is extremely likely that some of the pieces of the pot from locus 12 are also in locus 15.
