Narrative

Weather: In the morning, it was a sunny day with a little bit of warm wind, but in afternoon, the wind was very strong and impressive. We cannot work in the trench T35.

Workers:
1- William (Gregor’s brother)
2- Karlos (Karem’s brother)
3- Zarzand
4- Roman
5- Harmand
6- Rolland
7- David
*8-Narreck : He was late. He arrived at 10 h00 instead of 9 h00.

For the trench T34, we wanted to dig a little bit more in the locus 108 (feature 2) to see where it is finishing. We actually found bedrock in some places. We also took a soil sample under a rock we moved. It was burnt soil for sure (it had a lot of charcoal piece).

For the trench T35, I created a new locus for the interior of which we cannot call already walls, but maybe we will one day. A charcoal sample was taken in this part of the locus (between rocks near the limit of changing locus). Also, we found a little piece of what was maybe a clay floor or a fire pit in the locus 04. I created a feature for this thing. We started to dig in the locus 05, but not for a long time because in the afternoon it was too windy. Also, a charcoal sample was taken in this locus (near rocks and the line of changing locus). A small find was found in the locus 05: a little bone tool. We took a charcoal sample from T35 Locus 06 and T35 Locus 04.

In the trench T31, our mandate was to clean up the early bronze area. I made a locus for founds in this cleaning layer: locus 100. I think that we already found small stones that can be a EB walls, maybe. The upper Z : 52 cm. I have to find tomorrow in the data base the absolute Z for this trench.
