Last night\'s significant rain made a mess in our trenches today. WSS1 WSS2 and WSDB all require screening, so this morning, I had my team clean walls, while everyone else except Roman worked in WSDA1 to backfill it. At about 11:30, I conferred with Lori about the schedule for the rest of the day, because I was about to run out of work for my guys to do - except backfilling, which can be done without supervision. I suggested that perhaps we should consider going home to get other work done, while the guys backfilled WSDA. We decided that Elizabeth, Cynthia, Bryan and I might as well go home, and Lori stayed on site to read pottery.
Naturally, about the time we got to Aparan, the weather here became lovely - cool and sunny. I hope we made the right decision, though I still think we did. It\'s going to take awhile for the dirt to dry enough to screen.
