In lower part of locus 24 topsoil in eastern part of trench recovered half of a small basalt morter (Ar/Ts.SLT1.24.L.4). Another fragment of a basalt morter recovered in same area(Ar/Ts.SLT1.24.L.5). Lots of large bones coming out of topsoil here. Below topsoil in this section is a light brown clay loam (locus 37). In SE corner came down on a floor (locus 39). A potential wall is emerging on this floor. Will give it a locus number if it pans out.
Finished locus 33 sample and took final measurements. Recovered a small light gray obsidian projectile point (Ar/Ts.SLT1.33.L.1). Stem is broken off. Pavel and Ruben seem confident this type of stemmed point is only known from Early Bronze sites, so typological implications are compelling. Though missing stem may cause intepretive strife.
In north half of trench recovered a center fragment from a typical large basalt unifaced handstone at top of locus 32 (Ar/Ts.SLT1.32.L.1).
