Today I began by cleaning the area underneath where we had removed Locus 107, exposing the clay floor of the chamber. Next, I took final photos of the central chamber. Afterwards, I dug ~5 cm depper along the stone walls (on the south and east sides of the chamber) to expose the bottom of the walls. Underneath the relatively clean layer of orange clay at the bottom of the chamber, there was more mottled orange, brown, and black clay, which is what the walls appear to be sitting on. The clay lining the bottom of the chamber seems to have been slightly higher along the western wall, though the lower level along the southern wall may be related to the placement of vessels (Loci 29, 30 and 31) along that wall. Last, we took final depths for the central chamber.
