In locus 32 adjacent to locus 41 floor, uncovered a stone basin. This will be locus 42, and took a soil sample from mid-lower section of basin (Ar/Ts.SLT1.42.SS.1). Laura also took a pollen wash since we hadn't scrubbed it too clean.
A small probe in the locus 41 stone floor shows it was built directly atop the yellow clay layer found in the lower reaches of much of the trench's northern half, e.g. locus 8.
In locus 37 still taking out stones and cleaning to define the intermediate clay floors.
