More cleaning of stones today/excavating locus 2. I started a plan view in my journal. This was partially necessary because I started locus 3, a small area of a different soil matrix in the center of a circle of stones in the north western area. We also needed it to make where the human remains that we are finding have come from. They seem to be limited to the south-west area, particularly in a worrisome area where the are two likely capstones next to a blank area in the center of a semi-circle of stones that connects with the wall. Hopefully the suslik just had a field day. We also have a lot of materials coming out, by far the most I have ever collected. But, then again, this area did have a higher concentration of materials from the topsoil and the fill than other areas. At the end of the day the cromlechs became less clear :( Then.... flat tire, which took nearly 2 hours to fix (although our team is awesome and helped out calling many people and eventually finding a wrench the right size for the bolts, then getting the largest Armenian dude I have ever seen to wrench it off). Then the gas ran out on the way home Good thing it is still early in the season and moods are light!
