Narrative

Due to plans with Roman Hovsepyan, as well as other unexpected guests, I only walked one transect today--the morning transect that completed the last portion of the Ni landscape polygon. This work recorded in detail the settlement we investigated during our first day of work in the Ni sector. It consists of a complex of rooms and burial clusters along left bank of the the Kasakh gorge and the major tributary that joins the river there from the west. I recorded a cluster not noted on our original examination, just northwest of the confluence, as well as several masoned corridor approaches with prepared staircases.

This settlement was recorded as an independent site, but it retains certain proximities other local fortresses that suggest potential relationships and or unions.
