Narrative

Today we walked a long transect heading south from one drainage towards another which was decided today to be our southernmost transect boundary as it is less arbitrary than the cow paths we were previously using. First I encountered two paved cromlechs that had been circumvented by a barley field. Second we encountered another fortress or settlement that was perched high up on the hill on our transect. The area had many walls carved out of bedrock as well as a very large open space in a sort of valley between the ridges and several long terrace walls. surface material density was very low with only a few obsidian tools found. The "fortress" was given the name Ar/Ni.AG15.53.
