Today we walked two transects in the Ar/Ap region on the side of the road through some recently cut fields. Transect 34 ran in a mostly north direction but followed the curve of the road and he furrows. I did not encounter anything on this transect.
Transect 35 followed the same shape further east and headed in a southerly direction. On this transect I encountered two possible burials which might turn out to simply be piles of field clearing. Towards the end of the transect I encountered an artifact scatter which included one non-diagnostic sherd and a substantial amount of obsidian.
