Today we walked four transects in the Ar/Lu region. Transect 36 was headed east and I walked about halfway up and across a small peak. Except for an extensive burial cluster of almost exclusively kurgans at the start of the transect we encountered nothing. Transect 37 was headed I west and cut through a few fenced off ears and very marshy areas, I recorded two possible kurgans as part of a cluster Ian had recorded and I also encountered a single flake of what is possibly flint. Transect 38 was again headed west and I encountered nothing except a very long, cement soviet canal. Transect 39 was headed east and I encountered nothing.
