Today we completed three transects in the Ni/Lu region. Transect 42 ran east and was fairly short. I encountered an artifact scatter containing sherds and obsidian in tilled soil near a potato field. Transect 43 ran west and I encountered another similar scatter at the beginning and the foundations of a structure with piles of tufa around it a little further along. Otherwise the transect was uneventful. Transect 44 ran east towards the road and I encountered nothing along it.
