Today was the first day this season during which we were not rained out. We were able to complete three 2Km transects. Transect 2 headed east and I was able to record a long wall that formed part of a terrace and curved up along a ridge at the end of the transect. Additionally I recorded an artifact scatter with two small pieces of obsidian in a cow path . The majority of the transect was very rocky and any additional features (if they were there at all) were to difficult to distinguish. Transect 3 was heading west. I only encountered one site which was a rather large burial cluster at the end of the transect. The burials covered the north and east side of a larger hill and were in general clear rocky mounds. They were all recorded under Ar/Ni.KA16.16. Transect 4 was heading east and I recorded very little. Near the beginning I recorded a questionable isolated burial and near the end I recorded most of an obsidian blade in a cut under a hill. This area of the landscape, so far, has little clear evidence of human occupation.
