Today we walked the final three transects in the Ar/Ni region that have been planned thus far. The further up the slope of Aragats we climb the less we encounter burials and architecture. However, this could be a product of the soviet era field clearing that has created numerous large walls in the area. Transect 7 ran east and I recorded an isolated burials early in the transect and just two of the many field clearing walls that ran through and adjacent to my transect. Transect 8 ran west and I only recovered a single small piece of obsidian in a water runoff. Transect 9 ran east once again and I was only able to identify a single isolated burial however the area may contain more that were disturbed as a result of the field clearing.
