Completed transects 5 & 6 today. We started Transect 5 near Nigavan 9 site (from 2015) and evaluated that it's probably not a fortress, but the formations are the result of natural formations. After lunch we dropped down to ground truth some burials Alan found on the aerial, one of which is entered as burial cluster Nigavan BC 66. Samvel mentioned to Alan that the Road to Nowhere feature north of Nigaberd 5 is likely a path for livestock so they don't get into other corrals or fields; features like that have been used ethnographically he said. Seems like an interesting possibility.
