In the morning, Adam, Ruben, Amy, and I looked around the surface architecture in the lower part of the Aparani Berd fortress to find an area for her to do test excavations. They decided on a series of 1x1m test excavations. We then went to show the Aparani Berd cemetery clusters to Ruben, Adam, and Maureen to select some for excavation. Levon's burial at Lusabyugh in what was Nigavan BC 01 turned out to be a pile of rocks, so he'll be digging near Maureen as well. After lunch, we went to do some transects near Nigavan to the river, but I didn't record any sites except for a couple of Soviet sprinkler heads. We only go through one transect before it was time to head back.
