This morning we began work at Aparani Berd Cemetery (Ar/Ar.BC03). MEM, LA, SW (along with ATS and AEC) hired workers and set up a large trench (15 x 7m) surrounding approximately 3 burial constructions (2 cromlechs, 1 small kurgan, and portions of other burials). We got part way through removing the topsoil before getting rained out at 3pm. Today was a little slow, but people were in good moods and everyone was getting to know each other. We'll have to seriously move dirt tomorrow. The team (of 5 today) is young, but enthusiastic... hopefully we will not have to break any large capstones.
