Today we began the excavation of Aparan Burial cluster 03 and opened locus 1. Firstly we settled down the trench with the size of 7m by 15m. Three burials are included in this trench: one small kurgan in the middle disturbed the cromlech on its south, and another cromlech is located in the north of this trench. We recorded the elevation of each corner and the center of this trench and then began to clean the surface dirt, which is terminated by the heavy rain.
