In the morning I hit what I thought was bedrock. Decided to extend the trench west to a 1.5 x 1 in order to understand the terrace architecture. The boys hit rock right away, and it is difficult to understand if these rocks are fill or if they are part of a larger architecture structure. Decided to expand to a 1 x 2 in order to understand the terrace wall, and see if the rocks are architecture or something else. Also decided to open trench 4c to keep the workers working while I decided what to do with trench 4b.
