Removed rocks that were not stacked from the trench. Stacked rocks are at the eastern wall of the trench. There are a lot of ceramics sherds in locus 1, but we have not experienced a soil change. Most of the ceramics appear to be eb, but since they are heavily covered with mud they are difficult to read. At this point it looks like this is complelly a wash and rockfall layer. Once we hit a soil change we had. Wry few cultural materials. The rock wall appears to be confined to locus 1. I created locus 2 for artifacts sitting on the soil change, but may combine since all artifacts seem to appear in the wash layer. After soil change there are multiple alluvial events, but no cultural material. Took soil samples and measurements to understand alluvial events. After going down more than 20 cm and hitting a very hard clay I closed out the trench.
