Today we walked a handful of transects though to baby my feet, I only walked about 3/4 of the distance that the others walked. We worked to the west of Kuchak. Transect 39 took me about 45 min to get from 446800 4488050 to 446830 4489173. I found a burial cluster (Ar/Ku.EF16.01) there and a modern era water pipe. Transect 40 took 30 minutes to go from 446600 4487531 to 446601 4488050. For 41, I went from 446350 4488050 to 446350 4487472 in about 20 minutes; neither 40 nor 41 yielded recordable results. For 42, I walked north from 446150 4487363 to 446148 4488097 in about 30 minutes, including the time it took to record another burial cluster (Ar/Ku.EF16.03). . Transect 43 took me south from 446000 4488046 to 445997 4487333. In transect 43, i found multiple clearance walls, some sort of Soviet land marker, and a corral (Ar/Ku.EF16.05).
In the evening, I finished my section of satellite imagery and attempted to combine Salpi's and my points into a single shapefile, but somehow her data and mine were not behaving well together. I sent two files to Ian and Alan to upload to the gis. Then, Alan and I identified a settlement that I had found near our survey area, to examine tomorrow.
