This morning part of the survey team toured various sites (Gegharot, Aragatsiberd) and I stayed home to wash the pottery from yesterday's examination of Aparan Settlement 01. When we met up, we went to the area south of Aparan Settlement 01, where I recorded some interesting features that are outlined in rocks and then cobbled in the center, with most of the stones approx. 30-40 cm long. There was also a platform constructed of at least two single course "walls", though there may have been a third side at one time, since it was interrupted on the north side by a channel that appears to have a pipe buried in it. After wandering around that area, we walked two 1 km transects (49 and 50), finding very little.
