Today we walked four one-km transects in the Kuchak quadrant. The landscape was interesting - the earth was largely light and clayey, and the hills were very rugged. On Transect 56 (446750 4486100 to 4487100), I only found clearance walls. On 57, again, there were just clearance walls. On 58 (446050 4487021 to 6100), I found some interesting isolated architecture proximate to some that Ian also recorded (mine - Ar/Ku.EF16.29 - 32). It was a series of rectilinear shapes outlined in one course visible on the surface, and a line that rimmed a drainage. Ar/Ku.EF16.37 was an interesting series of walls in a saddle between two ridges that seemed to create a channel. During Transect 59 (445850 4486100 to 7100) I found a very long roughly N-S line of one-three courses that seemed to bound the fields or cordon off a large ridge (Ar/Ku.EF16.38).
