In SLT5 took a radiocarbon sample from locus 4 at 129cm below datum (Ar/Ts.SLT5.4.C14.2). Finished locus 4 and started locus 5 amidst heavy layer of stones that seem to be collapse from the surrounding walls. The sizes of the stones appear to match those in the wall. In this locus we also uncovered a large flat stone with a cupule ground into it which I made locus 6. Took a soil sample from the cupule (Ar/Ts.SLT5.6.SS.1). A few centimeters below the surface of this stone is a thin but dense clay layer covering bedrock that may be another floor sealed by the collapse stones.
In SLT6 we found a small find in locus 2 of a thin stone smoothed on one edge (Ar/Ts.SLT6.2.L.1). Finished locus 2 and started locus 3 when we hit a somewhat cobbley level with slightly lighter soil color than upper layers.
