Today we walked four roughly 2 km transects before lunch and then groundtruthed near Luysagyugh to determine that the rock piles recorded last year as a burial cluster were in fact rock piles. The preprandial transects yielded an interesting suite of architecture (cf. Ar/Ku.EF16.42) and also some terracing activity in the area (cf. Ar/Ku.EF16.46, .52, .53, .55). And yet, no material was found in association with these walls; the only material I found was a random nondiagnostic sherd on grass, in an area with a lot of disturbed earth. Transects 60-63 were walked today.
