Leveled off clay floor at the bottom of locus 5 just above bedrock and removed the collapse stones after thoroughly cleaning them. A black lens of a hearth is now clearly visible in the western baulk about 30cm above bedrock near the level of the locus 4 floor. This explains the fine ashy layer in the SW portion of the trench among the collapse stones. To more completely define the SW corner of the room we expanded the operation to the west and south by 1.5m. Also hoping to expose the wall along the southern baulk.
In SLT6 we started locus 4 as soil becoming more cobbly and has reddish clay inclusions. Between two vertical stones came across some Yervandid pottery and a bronze bracelet adorned with snake heads (Ar/Ts.SLT6.4.M.1).
