We returned to the Aparan survey quadrant today to complete the transects (66 and 67) interrupted by rain on 7/21 and begin stitching together two large areas of the survey region as NS transects, moving from west to east. Only three of us were in the field (me, Salpi, and Karen), as Ian and Elizabeth worked from home due to various ailments.
After completing the entire unfinished area as 1km transects, and finding mostly Soviet clearance and minor walls, we began a southward 2km-transect, which ended prematurely when Karen fell and twisted his ankle badly. We brought him to the hospital to get him checked out and ended our day early.
