Narrative

July 20. I continued to work in T01 Burial 02, cleaning the walls and going down accordingly. I started to get a reddish orange matrix in the western corners, which I believe is the floor. As I was cleaning up the Sw corner, I realized that there is another large faced tuff slab starting at the edge and continuing south past the multiple coursed southern wall, although the extent was not visible as there are the inner semi-circle cromlech rings and cobbles above. LA agreed that it was worth investigating - could be a second chamber, ante-chamber, dromos.

So, much more clearing out of rocks. We came down on a huge basalt rock that may have served as a capstone. This stopped everyone for awhile. I realized the whole southern cromlech construction was actually built up - there are 1-2 medium-large stones (similar to courses) propping up the upper-most construction. They interlock and rest on those below, so it was difficult to just take out the ones that seemed necessary from this view. Since the guys were stuck, I had them clean everything up for photos. Unfortunately this was when the large vessel was broken :(

In Burial 01, SW worked on the skeleton in Burial 01 with LA's help.
