We will continue to remove locus 7 today and we will commence digging locus 6. Weather is good.
As locus 6 continues downwards as a colluvial layer, we have laid out a 3x5 to the north of NT2 (adjacent to locus 6). Turf removal has commenced from this new locus 20.
Cloud cover has kept conditions cold, but locus 7 has been removed along with several floating rocks. Turf from locus 20 is halfway removed.
