Today we walked four transects, each a little over a km long starting in the Aragats quadrant and crossing over into the Kuchak quadrant early on. Transect 82 ran north and I recorded field clearance at the beginning and near the end there were two field clearance walls on either side of a creek and a number of burials above each wall that had clear cromlechs despite modern rock piling activity on top of them. The cromlechs and the lack of irrigation, foresting, and field planting activity around them suggested to me that they were all indeed burials. Transect 83 headed back south to the east of the previous transect. I recorded a scatter of pottery in some cow paths near the beginning, field clearance walls throughout, and a scatter of obsidian in some cow paths near the end. Transect 84 headed north, east of Transect 83. I recorded field clearence walls throughout and at the end pretty east of my transect I recorded a long wall that seemed to go around the top of hill. It was likely later in date with haphazard construction using piled stones of different shapes and sizes. There was what appeared to be a a gate or entry way to the east with some possible terraces below. Transect 85 ran south and I recorded an artifact scatter of a single piece of obsidian at the beginning as well as several field clearance walls throughout. The first clearance wall had a stone which had some suspicious etchings in it which I photographed and attached to the point. Otherwise I recorded a terrace wall near the end of the transect.
