Today we finished working our way to the western edge of the forest preserve in Kuchak. The closer we got to the preserve, the less it seemed like we were finding materials and architecture. We also filled in the space to the north of the preserve; on Amy's transect north of the preserve, she found a handful of holes/trenches recently dug, in which she found some materials. I only saw one of these, and it was about 50 cm deep by 60 - 70 cm on a side, with the earth mounded next to it. The purpose is a mystery, at least to me - this hole seemed too small to be a water catchment for cows, but it's hard to say.
