Narrative

Today we continued to ground truth in the Lusagyugh. We drove to the end of the road where we ended the previous day. The road that starts at the western end of the village and heads north until it curves up into the mountains. We walked across the hills to the east of the road until we reached the river that flows from the gorge and becomes the cement canal that we recorded in the region in 2015. There was nothing on the east side of the river except a single modern shrine and some large predator dung (gampr or bear?). On our return on the west side of the river we recorded several rooms, potentially medieval. We found a few non-diagnostic sherds in one of the rooms. After lunch we located a medieval burial in Ar/Lu we recorded in 2015 and searched for an associated settlement, but we couldn't find it. We ended the day early so that some problems on the UAZ could be attended to.
