We started today with transecting, beginning just west of the Mirak reservoir and finishing about 1.5 km west, at the M3 highway just south of Rya Taza. Nothing major found. We transected back eastward and ended at the western shore of the reservoir. I documented a tuff deposit and about .5 km later found 2 or 3 intact cromlechs, but they were already part of an existing burial cluster so I avoided doubling the entry. We then assisted Salpi with setting up a new trench on a terrace at the Mirak hillfort area.
