Today we returned to Gegharot. In T38 we began to clean up the unit, uncovering the walls we discovered in 2016. We also started a full-fledged initiative to get through the three meter extension to the north. It became clear through these efforts that the join between the two semi-circular parallel walls does in fact exist and that the architecture north of the tomb (locus 22) continues. The exact orientation of this/ these walls still remains unclear. We need to excavate the collapse from wall 15 further in order to distinguish which rocks constitute extensions of existing walls and which are merely tumble.
