Today we focused on cleaning and exposing the NW face of the wall. We cleared most of the dirt from the trench, exposing and articulating more rocks. Our main focus during the second half of the day was to descend in the north corner to try and expose the NW face of the wall. Towards the end of the day Ruben visited and we discussed expanding the trench to the NE by a meter to expose more architecture if the wall was not standing higher than a few courses before we arrived at bedrock. By the end of the day we had arrived at bedrock in the N corner of the trench and not established a clear face for the outside of the wall. It is likely that the wall was built against the bedrock and is mostly in a state of collapse. It seems that we will expand the trench my a meter to the NE by midday tomorrow. The area turned up more bones, ceramics, and a small amount of obsidian as well as part of a glass rim.
