Today our main objective was to remove as many stones as we could from the trench that were collapse and not stacked or lined up in any way. We did just that by removing all but a few stones that made up Locus 05. Locus 05 was created to define all the rock collapse outside of the curvilinear wall along the SW side of the trench. Additionally, we removed as many stones, that were jumbled inside the wall, as we could. This only revealed more jumbled rocks although two stones in the corner of the wall and where it meets the NE side of the trench appear like they could be paving stones. Tomorrow we will take out the remainder of Locus 05 and clean it until we reach Locus 04 soil change and take final photos. Then we will open up Mirak Operation 03 along the lower portion of the circular fortress wall. This should be a 2m X 2m up against the wall. I had the boys cut the grass inside the fortress wall with a scythe today.
