Today we focused all of our activity in Mirak Operation 02 on reaching bedrock in all areas of the trench that lie outside the wall. We reached bedrock finally along the Southwest side of the trench under Locus 05 about a little over a meter down. All the large rocks that make up the outer face of my wall on the SW side appear to be floating on nearly half a meter of soft soil so they are pedestaled while the NW side of the wall is built up against bedrock. Tomorrow we will sweep everything down, take final photos of Mirak Op. 02 and continue our work at Op. 03.
