July 13, 2017. Worked on T02 - two people cleaning up locus 52 and working on the chamber. I photographed the two stones in the S-W "wall'' of the tomb and was drawing and measuring when RB came over, got in the tomb and examined them and told me it wasn't necessary. He wants it clean and everything exposed, photo, drawn, then taken out, cleaned, photoed and redrawn. I think this is a mistake as always. There are cracks in the soil and the rocks are leaning in to the chamber. And they were knocked during removal of the capstones.
So, I started excavating. The pressure was on since Lilit will be coming back and can draw the interment if the timing is right. This scheduling drives me crazy.
I got to bones, but kind of a confusing mess with both animal bones and some human remains. Found teeth is a couple of places and a green phalange, so there must be bronze somewhere. More to do.
