Today we spent the morning cleaning Mirak Operation 03, both the orignial 2x2m trench as well as the 2 meter expansion to the south of the trench, over the fortress wall. Once the entire operation was clean we took final depths for Locus 04, 05, and 06. Photographed all three of the aforementioned Loci as well as took final Photos. In the afternoon we moved back to the Mirak Operation 02 where we finished removed the top soil from the rest of the 1 meter expansion to the Northeast of the trench. The topsoil was called Locus 09 (corresponding with Locus 01) and the layer we removed directly underneath was called Locus 10 corresponding with Locus 02. All the boys worked well today. On Monday we will continue taking the expansion down. At that point the trench should become three loci. One outside the wall, the wall will be an expansion of Locus 02 and one inside the presumed room.
