Unsurprisingly, we continued working in the northern and southern extensions of T38 to prepare the trench for final photos. This requires, on both ends, bringing the "external" space to the same level as the "internal." In other words, operation bedrock is in full effect. On the north side, we have exposed the northern face of the locus 26 wall and the northernmost continuation of locus 15, n-s terrace wall. The buttress hypothesis still appears to be correct in the area. Once we further remove the collapse context of stones to the north of locus 22 (the burial structure) the configuration, sequence, and composition of the architecture should become more clear.
In the southern extension, our clean up is also progressing. Part of the extension (locus 53, the western end) is now at bedrock! wahoo. Having cleaned a bunch of stones, we are in the processing of removing all that floats.
