Week 4, Day 2 of surveying. Our first objective for the day was flying a drone over the potential site in Chknagh proper. The majority of the rest of the day was spent performing transects eastward between Chknagh and Ttujur. Not much was found due to the poor visibility in the fields with the exception of two obsidian scatters and a Mousterian blade. It is interesting to note the seemingly great lack of sites between Chknagh and Ttujur. Perhaps such a space is due to the time period, which we cannot yet determine but as of now we are leaning toward mostly EB.
