I will keep this brief since I am feeling mildly under the weather. Today we opened operation T42. Yes another 5x5m unit. This unit was positioned where T41 should have been...slightly to the south and approximately 20m west of T39. Hopefully, given the GPR data there will be something of interest in this operation -- specifically a cultural rather than geological anomaly!!! We exposed bedrock in the east of the operation, which is consistent with other operations on the western slope. If there is any architecture from the early bronze age to be discovered it would likely be situated west of bedrock. Other than that the only finds to report are some ceramic and lithic materials. We seem to be increasing in density of materials as we go down, but I am starting to be a bit conservative re: grounding truthing. We will see what the next few days bring...
